All of the Fish Scale Pens are handmade, even the standard ones. We flatten them, shape them and grind them to customer specification. One hundred percent of the pens are tried out before they are shipped. The 9-E is about 1/4 inch from point to point. This is another pen that will not fit in your scabbard. Standard Fixed Pen - Tip is NOT removable or replaceable. See above for tip profile image. This profile is also available in Vented Fixed Handpiece. Or buy Replaceable Tips and purchase a Replaceable Tip Handpiece. Detail Master burning pen handpieces made by Leisure Time Products, Inc. are unquestionably state-of-the-art. This means you will find no other handpieces that can match their longevity, corrosion resistance and performance. If used and cared for properly, these pens will last for years. Abuse (such as over-sharpening) will shorten the life of the pen. Please read the instructions carefully when you receive the pen. Detail Master pens are tested 100% for continuity, hot spots and heat concentration. At the factory, they put a ground edge on the blade pens, but you may sharpen them to your liking.
