This is the most popular of angle blade tips. It is called a general duty pen meaning that it can burn straight lines, barb burn, undercut, etc. It is a "hot knife" with many commercial uses.

Special Vented Handpiece Design
The vented, fixed tip pen has holes at both ends and several side holes to allow the residual heat to escape.
The movement generated from use of the pen also helps to dissipate the heat.
