The 8 series of pens are much like the 7 series but has a distinct difference. The 8 series has a point so you can shade out of corners. This pen is 1/8 inch wide.

Special Vented Handpiece Design
The vented, fixed tip pen has holes at both ends and several side holes to allow the residual heat to escape.
The movement generated from use of the pen also helps to dissipate the heat.
