This item is the Vented Detail Master Handpiece only. NO Tips are included with this item.

The vented, fixed tip pen has holes at both ends and several side holes to allow the residual heat to escape. The movement generated from use of the pen also helps to dissipate the heat.

Replaceable Tip Burning Pens
New! Replaceable Tip Handpiece, Version 2.0!
This is the newest version of the Detail Master replaceable tip handpiece. It is designated as Version 2.0. Detail Master developed this version because it operates much cooler than Version 1.0. Detail Master will no longer make the Version 1.0 handpiece. Version 2.0 will not accept replaceable tips from Version 1.0. The new Version 2.0 tips are solid, silver brazed, and make a much better connection than the old replaceable tips.
Replaceable Tip Handpiece, v 1.0
This is Detail Master replaceable tip handpiece (v 1.0). It has a jackplug at the other end of the cord for conveniently plugging into the Detail Master burning system control box. Included with the handpiece is a Slip Lock for locking the tip into the handpiece. Please note that the slip lock gets hot with use; it is suggested that you purchase additional Slip Locks so you do not have to change them from one tip to another. The Slip Lock spreads the pen tip's prongs, making a better contact.

Detail Master burning pen products made by Leisure Time Products, Inc. are unquestionably state-of-the-art. This means you will find no other system that can match their longevity, corrosion resistance and performance. If used and cared for properly, these pens will last for years. Abuse (such as over-sharpening) will shorten the life of the pen. Please read the instructions carefully when you receive the pen. Detail Master pens are tested 100% for continuity, hot spots and heat concentration. At the factory, they put a ground edge on the blade pens, but you may sharpen them to your liking.
