Foredom Plated diamond point PD856 is used on hardened steel, glass, precious metals, ceramics, stone and composite materials for a broad range of applications. Its plated blank is precision turned, stainless steel to ensure proper concentricity and balance for high speed use. All the corners are rounded and the plating cycle is specifically tuned for the point shape to ensure even diamond coverage and a strong bond. Has sharp, natural diamond grit that conforms to ISO specifications for medium diamond grit-120-200 mesh/125-180 micron. 6.0mm head dia., 18.0mm head length, 1/8" (3.2mm) shank. Max speed rating 50,000 rpm.
