The unit has the MICROMOT standard collar of 4/5" (20 mm) and comes with an adapter, that is fitted to any of the above named rotary tools by means of a 3/32" (2.4 mm) collet that is included, too.

The angle adapter may also be used for cutting metal profiles such as model railroad tracks.

In order to take full advantage of this angle adapter in tight spaces, insert bits or cutters as close as possible to the chuck. All of the MICROMOT Steel Collets (87-28940) and the 3-Jaw Keyless Chuck (87-28941) fit this angle adapter. Transmission ratio 1:1 via a 4 ball bearing drive.
