Foredom DS721A - Dumont Sintered Diamond Point. Sintered Diamond Point (cup, hard binder/fine grit) from Dumont of Belgium, the world's leader in sintered diamonds. 8.0mm head dia., 4.5mm head length, 2.35mm (3/32") shank.

Made of precisely controlled diamond crystals that produce a uniform matrix which is embedded in a strong, durable binder. Dumont diamonds are extremely long lasting and can be "re-shaped" as often as desired against a wet dressing stone (44-10333). Unload burs with the Foredom wet stick (44-4005).  Sintered diamonds last 5 to 10 times longer than plated diamonds and up to 100 times longer than silicon carbide or aluminum oxide abrasives. Available in different grit/binder combinations. Use for precious stones and metal finishing work (especially gold) when contamination of the surface prior to application of porcelain is a potential problem. Not recommended for ceramics and glass. Max. speed rating 25,000 rpm.
