Proxxon Orbital Sander SL 12/E - 12 Volt - REQUIRES 12V TRANSFORMER SOLD SEPARATELY. Ideal for grinding surfaces and edges. Safe and easy to use. For form grinding, coarse and fine surface and edge sanding, for re-sanding primer and surface finishes. Its safety voltage and reducible sanding speed make it ideal for wet sanding, too. The unit offers a practical clamping unit for sandpaper so no special sheets are required. Strips can simply be cut from any commercially available sand paper. The sanding area measures 3 5/32" x 2 2/32" (80 x 58 mm) and has no overhanging parts and can therefore work surfaces right into corners and edges. The tool operates on 12 - 18 V at 100 watt maximum power consumption. The sanding speed is electronically adjustable between 1,000 and 5,000 strokes/min.
Power Supplies for Orbital Sander SL 12/E: You must purchase a 12 Volt Transformer separately to operate this unit. For operating this unit we recommend PROXXON MICROMOT power supplies Proxxon NG 2/S BASIC Transformer or the Proxxon NG 5/E DELUXE Transformer. This is a great add-on if you already have one of the Proxxon Micromotor systems.
