The mini-chip carving knife has a 5/8" ultra thin blade, making unwanted chipping in delicate cuts less likely. The smaller handle is faceted with multiple control points to allow them to be held in a variety of comfortable positions. Each carving knive is constructed with an ash handle and a high carbon steel blade. The high carbon blade holds an edge extremely well and is easily maintained by simple stropping. Each blade is honed, polished and ready to go.
