Foredom Series LX High Torque/Low Speed Motor with built-in speed control
A bench style version of Foredom's high-torque/low-speed LX motor with an integrated speed control is mounted in a cast-iron base for easy placement anywhere on the workbench.

The Series L motors were re-engineered by Foredom and they now have the letter 'X' added to their model names - X for extra power! These permanent magnet motors are specifically designed for low speed/high torque applications and now offer more power for stone setting, wax modeling, and pearl drilling. Ball bearing motors feature full power and torque from start up and throughout the entire speed range up to 5,000 rpm.
Any of the standard connection 'quick connect' handpieces will fit these units.

These motors are ideal for use with Foredom's drill presses. 

They also are well matched with the 15 and 15D Hammer Handpieces.
