Foredom No. 10D Handpiece with Quick Change & Duplex Spring - "Quick Disconnect"

Quick Change are a subgroup of Collet Type handpieces that accommodate only a single collet size - 2.35mm (or 3/32"). Quick Change handpieces allow you to change out accessories (burs, bits, cutters, drills, etc.) with only a brief interruption in work and without the use of a chuck key or pin & wrench.

Same as the No. 10, with the addition of a Duplex Spring. For use only with 3/32" (2.35mm) burs. The spring provides extra flexibility to the handpiece.

Duplex springs are subject to breakage. We recommend that only experienced users of flex shaft tools whose work demands the added flexibility consider purchasing this style handpiece. For most users, the "straight" handpiece is the preferrable solution.
